How to 2v2 in Clash Royale new update
Clash Royale is a mobile strategy game developed by Supercell, the same company behind popular games such as Clash of Clans and Boom Beach. In the game, players collect and upgrade cards featuring Clash of Clans troops, spells, and defenses, and use them to battle against other players in real-time. The goal is to destroy the opponent’s towers while defending your own, using strategic placement and timing of troops and spells. If you’re wondering where you will find the 2v2 option in the game in this most recent update, we’ll tell you where you need to go.
How to 2v2 in Clash Royale
In the Update for Losers for Clash Royale, the Party button no longer houses the game modes it used to have, as they can now be found in the Events Tab. You can join your preferred game modes in this section. Additionally, there will be a changing of game modes in the 1v1 and 2v2 Events, occurring more frequently than in the Main Event.
Basically, if you want to play 2v2 mode in Clash Royale, you will need to tap on the Events button at the bottom of the screen. It is represented by a single sword and on the far right. Once you have done so, you should see the 2v2 option on the screen above the Challenges section.
One bummer about the new update is as of right now there is no longer a “Play Again” button after you’ve participated in a match. It is unclear if this is a bug or an actual change that was made. Whatever the case, players are pretty upset about this and have been voicing their opinions about it on Reddit. We will have to wait and see if they revert or fix this.
A 2v2 battle in Clash Royale is a mode where two teams of two players face off against each other, with the goal of winning more Crowns than their opponents. The King’s Tower in 2v2 battles has two cannons, is wider, has two kings, and more health than the equivalent tower in 1v1 battles. There are no level restrictions in 2v2 battles, and both players use separate decks. Elixir generation is slowed down in 2v2 battles, with 85% of normal generation during regular play and 70% during Double Elixir and Overtime. Players can play 2v2 battles with friends, clanmates, or a random teammate, and they can also be played in Friendly Battles with clanmates.
