What’s the game about?

Project JoJo is a Roblox game that is based on the popular manga series “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure” by Hirohiko Araki. The game is split into eight parts, with parts 7 and 8 taking place in a different universe than the first six. The protagonist of each part is nicknamed “Jojo” because of the connection between their first and last names. The series has a range of main characters and switches genres and abilities from part to part. The first two parts use the ability Hamon, while the rest of the parts use Stands, which are a physical manifestation of one’s soul. It is recommended to start reading or watching the series from the beginning, Part 1, and gradually work your way up to become knowledgeable about the lore.

What are Stands?

Stands in Project JoJo are entities generated psychically by its owner, also known as a Stand User. These entities appear as figures near the user and possess abilities beyond those of a regular human, which can be used for good or evil depending on the Stand User. They can also represent an individual’s innate fighting spirit and embody their psyche.

Stands can be summoned using the Q button and can punch with the left-click. These entities can be obtained by finding an Arrow scattered throughout Morioh or through trading, stand discs, Atom Heart Father’s Arrow, Requiem Arrows, and DIO’s Diary.

Currently, there are 76 Stands, including ACT, Requiem, Alternate Universe, Prime, and Over Heaven forms, in the game for players to use. Some Stands can unlock Requiem Moves, such as Time-Stop Movement. Damage inflicted on Stands affects the user and vice versa, as do status effects. Certain Stands require a SPEC to be acquired, such as Hamon for “Hermit Purple” and Spin for “Ball Breaker.”

As an RPG game, every Stand in the game can be as overpowered as desired, which means a high-level Anubis user could potentially defeat a Made in Heaven user.
