The Paws & Claws update is the perfect addition to Core Keeper, adding a new level of excitement and immersion to the already captivating gameplay. With the introduction of animal companions and a new sub-biome, players can look forward to hours of gameplay and exploration. If you need help figuring out how to get the Nimble Egg in Core Keeper, we have a detailed guide!

How to get Nimble Egg in Core Keeper

To get a Nimble Egg in Core Keeper, you will need to go into the Azeos wilderness and look for yellow flowers. By destroying these flowers, you’ll have a chance to find a Nimble Egg, which is described as a “mysterious, feather-eared egg that seems to react to your presence.”

Once you place the Nimble Egg into the Incubator, it will become a Cracked Nimble Egg, which will then hatch a Fanhare. The Fanhare is described as, “This feather-eared rodent is an able companion, making up for its size by swinging poisonous, sturdy hair into the enemy.” It features a poisonous pelt that makes it less-than-cuddly but works well against enemies as it has a chance to do poison damage and its ranged attack can hit multiple targets.

Remember, in order to hatch any of the eggs found in the world, you will need to craft the copper workbench (you can do so at the wood workbench), which was added in this update, so you can then craft the incubator. You will need to be patient before your egg will hatch in your incubator!

As you level up your pet–by taking them into combat with you or by giving it pet candy–you’ll be able to get different perks for your pet. You can roll for different perks or a different combination of perks to get the most out of your companion.
