Fortnite has proven itself to be a successful live-service time and time again with the release of every new season adding new weapons and items to change up the gameplay. There were two new Mythics added ahead of Chapter 4, Season 3, including the Mythic Drum Shotgun and the Mythic Flapjack Rifle which are only found in specific places.

Both of these weapons can only be acquired through special actions, meaning players will need to know where to look to get them. We’ve broken down the details into sections so you know where to go to find these Mythic weapons.
Where to find the Mythic Drum Shotgun
According to iFireMonkey, you’ll be able to find this weapon similarly to another Mythic last season, and you’ll need to go to the POI that rifts in during the match. This is like a live event in each match, with a new island with a house on it spawning after several storm circles.
Players will first need to survive to the point where the island spawns, and then make their way to it using the UI marker that will appear. At that point:
- Run to the island ahead of the other players
- Climb onto it
- Claim the Capture point to be given your reards
This will give you the Mythic Drum Shotgun and allow you to deal devastatingly compressed damage to your opponents.
Where to find the Mythic Flapjack Rifle
While I wished this gun delivered pancakes, it’s actually called the Flapjack Rifle due to the spinning magazine on the top that’s reminiscent of a pancake. Players can only find the Mythic variation of this gun by going into vaults, which will require keycards.
In order to unlock the vaults, you’ll need to:
- Wait for the boss with a keycard to spawn, indicated by a marker on your POI
- Kill him and take his keycard
- While holding the keycard, follow the trail to the vault.
