Roblox Rainbow Friends is a horror experience for the platform that is developed by Fragment Games. While the game starts off simply enough, things will quickly get scary as it develops. To survive, you will need to know how to make your way through certain obstacles. We’ll show you all of the characters that currently exist in the game.
The most important thing to have available to you is the sound in the game. A lot of avoiding the Rainbow Friends is listening for footsteps and other sounds that indicate they are nearby! Wearing headphones while playing is the best way to escape.
All Rainbow Friends Characters & Monsters
Here are all of the currently in-game Rainbow Friends and Monsters in the game as of right now: Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, and Red.
Blue Rainbow Friend
The Blue Rainbow Friend is the most common and well-known of all the characters in the game. It has a Cookie Monster like vibe, but wears a yellow crown on its head and has a button for an eye. He is also drooling, so make sure to avoid getting any on you!
To avoid the Blue Rainbow Friend, you will need to enter into your box prior to it observing your location. If you are seen, you will see a red exclamation point (!) show over your head. Quickly exit your box and run around a corner or into a room to break its line of sight. Enter your box again to hopefully remain hidden from their grasp.
You can also escape Blue by entering a closet or crawl space. Listen for its loud footsteps and groaning to know that it’s nearby.
Green Rainbow Friend
The Green Rainbow Friend is a tentacle like monster with its really long arms. There is a striking resemblance to Gumby, who is an old cartoon character from the past. Green doesn’t wear anything fancy like Blue, but they are quite dangerous.
Green cannot be escaped by using a box. You will need to crouch down and sneak away from them. If you hear squeak toy like noises then you know they are nearby. Green is “blind” which you would think might make noise a factor, but that really isn’t the case. Be careful when entering rooms, Green tends to camp and not move at times, which makes them hard to locate.
Also, make sure not to touch Green as you will be captured! Just walk around them or attempt another route to get away from them.
Orange Rainbow Friend
The Orange Rainbow Friend is a lizard like monster that has a huge mouth with an impressive set of teeth. Orange is quite fast, which makes them particularly difficult to evade. The good news is that you can box up and hide in a locker to escape them. This is similar to alluding the Blue Rainbow Friend.
As mentioned, Orange is very fast which means you can’t out maneuver them very well. To avoid being attacked, you can feed Orange with food from the machine in its lair. If you don’t feed Orange a siren will go off indicating that its attacking. Either box up or jump into a locker to avoid being eaten! You will also want to avoid the orange trail if you see one, Orange follows it throughout the area.
Purple Rainbow Friend
The Purple Rainbow Friend might be the creepiest of them all! They lurk in the vents and look to catch anyone who might attempt to walk by. You will need to make sure to watch for its eyes and hands lingering around the vents.
To avoid Purple, you just need to make sure and watch the vents. If you don’t see eyes or hands creeping out, you are safe to walk by it. If you do see the eyes, make sure to walk on the footsteps and do NOT touch the water stained on the ground. If you touch the water you will be grabbed immediately, so be very careful to only walk on the footsteps.
Cyan Master Rainbow Friend
Cyan first appears as a monster in Chapter 2.
Cyan features a unique appearance, bearing a head shaped like a magnet and having no hands or arms. The rest of her form has a dinosaur-like resemblance, although there are notable similarities with Orange, especially in regards to the eyes.
As for escaping Cyan, she becomes aware of your presence when you approach her. Upon noticing you, your survival hinges on remaining stationary. Any movement will trigger Cyan to hunt you down, ultimately leading to your demise. If she observes motion while you’re hiding in a box, she will investigate by sniffing around. If any movement is detected during this sniffing process, she will initiate a chase, even if you are inside of a box.
Yellow Rainbow Friend
Yellow is a unique blend of bird and pterodactyl, characterized by a black vest, a propeller, and a pair of eyes atop two elongated arms. He is known for his sharp teeth and distinctive noises, including hefty footfalls and avian sounds.
In terms of behavior, Yellow spends the initial four hours aimlessly roaming, in search of the player. If he spots the player, he will start a pursuit which only ends when the player manages to evade him. At that point, Yellow will cease the chase and revert to his aimless wandering. Diverging from other Rainbow Friends, Yellow will not kill the player on contact. Instead, he will seize them and commence a flight around the map. The player’s survival then hinges on a successful landing on an inflatable castle. Failure to do so results in death. If the player neglects to jump, Yellow transports them to his nest, where he ultimately kills them.
To avoid Yellow, a few strategies are proposed. In the event of being caught by Yellow, an attempt to land on the inflatable castle should be made. Hiding inside a box can make you invisible to Yellow. However, if an exclamation mark “!” appears over your head, Yellow can still grab you.
Red Rainbow Friend
The Red Rainbow Friend is currently the narrator and mysterious character that talks to you throughout your experience in Chapter 1 of the game. It is unclear what their motives are currently, but it is thought that Red is a scientist of some sort. Whether or not they end up being good or bad will likely be determined in future chapters.

There are currently six monster characters and one unknown allegiance character. Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow, Cyan Master, and Purple are all the monsters in the game, while Red is the narrator that gives you tips throughout your adventure. It is unclear, however, if Red is on your side as of right now.
How many nights are there in Rainbow Friends?
In Chapter 1 of Rainbow Friends there are five nights in total. You will need to survive throughout by avoiding the various monsters that get added onto the map as you get closer to the end of the chapter.
